TYPES OF CORE DRILLING

  • Barrier Wall Pinning – Drilling & Pining portable concrete traffic barriers to the pavement structure to safely secure the barrier, prevent movement and maintain alignment.
  • Core Samples – Cutting precise core sizes for analysis and testing required by customers.

PNEUMATIC DRILLING

Specializing in Dowel Bars, Ties Bars and CTB Permanent Walls. Cpave has perfected the use of the pneumatic drill.

TYPES OF PNEUMATIC DRILLING

  • Dowel Bars and Tie Bars – Steel bars are installed in concrete slabs using pneumatic drills to provide a mechanical connection without restricting horizontal joint movement. These bars are installed to reduce joint reflection and stress by increasing load transfer efficiency.
  • Concrete Traffic Barrier (CTB) Wall Attachment – Vertically drilling tie bars to permanently attach CTB wall to the slab creating a barrier from oncoming traffic.
